***ANNOUNCEMENT***
Fiction Anthology The Cold Light of Day is open for submission
We’ve released four well received open submission anthologies so far, and we want to expand in 2024 with this second of two exceptional offerings! The Cold Light of Day is our first anthology dedicated solely to fiction and storytelling. We have always included it in our previous offerings, and we are excited to devote an entire volume to a celebration of imaginative storytelling.
Is there a theme?
The short answer is no.
We thought about the idea of a theme for quite awhile after the last anthology was released, and the more time we spent considering it, the more it became apparent that we didn’t want to put ourselves into an arbitrary box for this new release.
We want to highlight fiction across genres with this new release – mystery, thriller, horror, romance, scifi, historical, paranormal – Flash Fiction, Micro Fiction, Short Stories, and Novelettes – everything will be considered! Show us your best stories and the tales you’re dying to tell.
What about art?
If you’re familiar with our previous anthologies, you know that we also tend to include art within the books, and there will be some included in The Cold Light of Day also! We have made the collective decision to commission art directly for this release rather than include it in the call for submissions.
This anthology is tentatively scheduled to be published in January 2025.
