Announcement: Submissions for Dead Signals//Lost Transmissions are now Open!

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

Science Fiction Anthology Dead Signals//Lost Transmissions is open for submission

We had a great experience with our first open submission anthology last year, and we wanted to head into 2021 with even more new offerings to showcase. Having a central theme for the first anthology was good, but we wanted to broaden the appeal a little bit so we’re going with a genre theme.

This new anthology is centered on the Science Fiction genre, which is definitely a broad offering with a lot of different avenues to choose from. We will be looking to include the following:

  • Short fiction
  • Thematically relevant poetry
  • Black and white art

Tentatively scheduled to be published in April 2022.

Submission Guidelines

  • Submissions will be accepted between March 1st and November 30th
  • Submissions are work that is previously unpublished
  • Poetry – 5 pieces max per author
    • Should be proofread and formatted as you’d like it to appear on the page
    • Clearly titled, or if untitled then clearly noted break between pieces
    • Submitted in .doc or .docx format
  • Fiction – 1 piece, 10,000 words max
    • Will consider multiple pieces by the same author as long as the total word count is not more than 10,000 words
    • Submitted in .doc or .docx format
  • Art – Black and White
    • Page size of the books is 5.5”x 8.5” so the art should look good in that size
